Coroners

The MoJ has produced two guides, primarily for bereaved people using the Coroner’s Court but which may also be helpful to others involved in a coroner investigation or attending a coroner’s inquest.  The first guide explains the coroner investigation process, including the inquest, and sets out the standards of service that coroners should meet.  It also explains what someone can do if they feel those standards are not met.  A separate guide has been produced that summarises the main elements of the coroner investigation process. View both guides or view MoJ press release.
